On April 18th, the opening ceremony of online seminar Commonwealth Vocational Education System and Innovative Teaching Models & Methods was held by SAAIPE (Southeast Asia Alliance for the Integration of Production and Education in Vocational Education). Dato Xiao Jinping, general consultant of ICCCM (International Cultural Communication Center, Malaysia), and Ms. Bai Nisi, chairman of ICCCM, attended the opening ceremony. Zhang Jian, vice president of SVU, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech as the representative of the alliance chairman unit.

In the speech, Zhang Jian briefly introduced the university and SAAIPE. He said that teaching staff training is an important measure to improve the level of internationalization of colleges and universities. The seminar aims to strengthen sino-foreign vocational education cooperation, learn from each other, and lay a solid foundation for promoting the construction of our country's vocational education and high-quality going out.
